CSI: New York
CSI NY Nabs Katherine McPhee
Wednesday, February 18th, 2009Former American Idol runner-up Katherine McPhee is going to appear in an upcoming episode of CSI: New York this season. She is scheduled to play a singer in this crime series and as EW has reported, will also be singing in some scenes.
The singer-actress is no stranger to gigs like this because before American Idol, she was actually doing some acting first. She was last scene in the movie The House Bunny starring Anna Farris. She is scheduled to work on her first starring movie opposite David Annable from Brothers and Sisters, in the romantic comedy, Wedlock.
As for her singing career, Katherine McPhee has just signed a new record deal and is slowly working on her new album with Verve Records, under Universal Music. This would have to be her second album, scheduled for release late this year.
Law and Order Versus CSI
Thursday, December 28th, 2006The Law and Order and CSI franchises have certainly made their mark on Crime Drama TV. While Law and Order is the older of the two, CSI continues to outrank Law and Order in the ratings. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation holds the number 2 spot for the week of December 18-24 and CSI: Miami and CSI: New York come in tied at fourth. My favorite (and far better show) Law and Order SVU is 19th.
